busy busy busy

I've been very preocuppied of late. Things at work have picked up considerably, and I have also finished the draft of our decree of dissolution. This is what has possesed most of my time lately.

There are 59 pages of .... stuff. Petition of dissolution, Separation Agreement, Shared parenting agreement, worksheets...etc etc etc.

It took me nearly a month to gather all of the information, and a week of negotiation with Cheryl to get it together. Cheryl is surprised at my resolve. She actually asked me if I was really going through with it. To which I replied, "I don't really see another option at this point." She hinted that she would be willing to get some counseling, and I told her that it wouldn't be any different than before. She has good intentions for a short period of time, and then we find ourselves right back where we always do... in trouble.

I've always told her that if I saw any sustained effort on her part to work on things that I would reconsider, but she knows that she won't. So... there were are.

This is happening.

And now it's real.
